Now you may recall I mentioned lambs gamboling in the hills and looking too nice to eat? Ermmmm, well.... we ate him!..... And turns out I was wrong (a one off) - he was delicious!!!..... Big thanks to Chris and Les for inviting us round and cooking a fabulous meal, K definitely keen for that recipe!
Seriously though, we headed into the middle of nowhere for a catch up with Chris and Les with the added bonus of dinner. It was great to see them and what is it with this climate? Nobody looks any older and in Chris and Les's case, they look better than ever, must be healthy living in the middle of North Wales....
Family aside, I think Chris has known me longer than anybody else I know! We first met in 1983 when Chris was my supervisor and we have both travelled a long way since! (OMG Chris, that is 30 years! So many memories!)Loved the house with its 3 feet thick walls, it's nooks and crannies dating back 600 years and so much space.... oh, and views forever.... Fabulous.... I had forgotten how dark, dark can be! Appreciate the torchlight back to the car, despite the rain!
PS: Sorry Barb, I forgot to ask Chris about "The Boots"!!!
