Friday evening was excellent, dinner at The Stamford Bridge with Ken and Rhona.... I think it pretty unfair, despite the passage of six years and becoming Grandparents, they don't look a day older than last time we had dinner in 2007, they looked great..... Without doubt, they are the most upstanding citizens you could ever wish to meet. Aside from blipping the accelerator to 71 in a 70 and even that only on a special occasion, you could take it to the bank, Ken would never break a law.... If the TV license man rocked up, for example... Anyway, take it from me....
When I learned Ken had a mobile, doubt set in.... And so.... Hesitant... I asked THE ultimate question... So are you on... Throat clear.. Errrmmmm.... Facebook then?..... "Absolutely not".... You can't imagine the sense of relief... It is ok.. The world is still turning... Everything is still normal!Anyway... Several bottles of wine later and plenty of intelligent conversation, as anticipated, we were all caught up and it was a shame the evening had to end.... Next time in Brisbane perhaps?
